Dear Parents, Guardians, and School Community,
We have had another excellent week here at St. John the Baptist Boys’ National School.
Our Galaxy Giants and Explorer classes had a wonderful trip to Kilmeedy Farm! You can see photos from their visit on our school Facebook page.
On Wednesday, we marked a bittersweet occasion as we said goodbye to Linda, who retired after 30 years of dedicated service to our school community. We held a special farewell ceremony to send her our warm wishes. We were also joined by former principal Seamus Long. Both Seamus and Linda shared heartfelt words with the boys about their behavior and how fortunate they are to be so well cared for here at SJTBB.
Thank you all for your input on the recent circulars regarding the Behaviors of Concern and SEN policies. I am pleased to share that both policies have now been officially ratified by the Board of Management.
