Geodome

As we continue our journey toward sustainability and environmental awareness, we are thrilled to share some exciting updates from the school garden and Green Schools initiatives.

Our application for the Green Flag for Litter and Waste has officially been submitted, and we are eagerly awaiting our visit to see if we will be successful in attaining our very first Green Flag! This achievement marks a significant step in our commitment to creating a cleaner, greener school environment, and we can’t wait to share the outcome with you all.

In addition, our Gardening Committee had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Learning Hub, where they saw firsthand what a Geodome and working garden look like in action. It was an inspiring visit, offering a glimpse into what our own school garden could look like once completed, as well as the maintenance involved in keeping it thriving.

We are pleased to announce that the construction of our very own Geodome is well underway, and the grand opening is scheduled for April! This is an exciting milestone for our school, and to celebrate, we will be hosting a 10-week workshop for parents, guardians, grandparents, and students. These workshops will offer hands-on learning experiences, and we encourage everyone to get involved. Together, we will grow, learn, and celebrate the benefits of gardening and sustainable living.

We are incredibly excited about the upcoming events and all the opportunities for our school community to come together and make a positive impact on the environment.
